NWFP University Of Engineering And technology Rocks!!...Now improving its Reputation !!

NWFP UET (university of engineerig and technology) got number eight position in PEC ranking list....I Was shocked after watching that list because UET, where cream of the nation are selected only, has such position!!! Being as a uet peshawar student i think that aur university is not so bad as predicted by PEC...I agree that we have a lack of teachers in the research fields and due to that reason our points got down but overall condition is superb!! Now uet peshawar has started semester system in all the engineering deciplines including all the campuses and affiliate colleges,Ghandhara and PCE (peshawar collage of engineering). Our vice chancellor syed Imtiaz hussian shah gillani is doing his best to make the campus gillorious...Presently we have three campuses at Mardan,Bannu and Abbottbad but Main campus (peshawar ) still remain the main body for all the campuses

NWFP Mardan Campus was inaugurated in 2002 .In Mardan campus we have Telecommunication Engineering and Computer Software Engineering.Last year unfortunately PEC did not recognized NWFP UET MADRAN Campus.But the Issue is still under consideration and strikes by students are still going on..In recognition matter mardan campus is facing alot of problems but we hope for its good future!

. Bannu campus become operational in May 2002 and is situated on d i khan road.presently none of the batch are passed out from bannu campus and the final year student's project is going on.In the bannu campus we have engineering in only two decipline i-e Electrical and Civil Engineering along with BIT .On Friday 29 december PEC visited Bannu campus and still we have been waiting for its recognition desperately.Presently we have a Good teaching faculity including with masters and PHD professors providing high tech Lectures and extra ordinary environment for the students .

Third campus is situated in Abbottbad and we have offered electronics engineering overhere!!

Being a student of UET Peshawar, I feel that the whole responsibility of strikes in the side campuses lies on the main campus admninistration. Due to their rude behaviour and ignoring these campuses even though the majority students of these campuses are on the self fianance basis caused this situation. I dont the reason of these ignorance. Whether the university administration was afraid of these campuses especially mardan as this campus is progressing by leaps and bounds and might cross the main campus in every field or they had made these campuses just for the sake of earning money. Allah knows better.

i think PEC should have recognize uet bannu and mardan campus it is injustice with campuses
