India’s Sania Mirza cruised into the second round of the $74,800 Forest Hills Women’s Tennis Classic here Wednesday defeating American wildcard Alexa Glatch 6-2, 6-3.
Sania, ranked 44, has been drawn to face Croatia’s Karolina Sprem in the first round of the US Open starting next week.
Sania who was finalist in the tournament last year before losing to Lucie Safarova of the Czech Republic, will now face fourth seed Lourdes Dominguez Lino of Spain for a place in the semi-finals.soo lets see her next game !!!
